Mark E Dale, founder of Families for Safer Schools, co-founder of RxSafe Marin and OD Free Marin and participant in myriad drug programs and task forces, will speak about the impact of Fentanyl and other drugs on the youth and communities of Marin County.

Mr. Dale introduces his topic: “Since January 2000, the U.S. has lost more people to drug overdose deaths than all wars combined. More recently, due to Fentanyl-laced substances, we have lost more than 105,000 people per year. We have lost so many young people that our life expectancy has declined, tearing at the fabric of our future. Marin County has been ranked as the healthiest county in California for the past 13 of 14 years — but alcohol use and drug overdose death rates have remained unacceptably high in our small population.”
